Eltham Woods Childcare Cooperative is a unique long day care and kindergarten located on Wurundjeri land amongst the gum trees and away from main roads.
Eltham Woods Childcare Cooperative is child safe organisation. We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for all children to learn and grow together.
Eltham Woods Childcare Cooperative is a community-based non-profit centre management by a committee of parent volunteers. We provide high quality care and education to children aged 0 to 6 years in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children in which we support children to inquire, hypothesis, discuss, discover, learn, predict and grow. Our beautiful natural setting is an important part of our program and we encourage our children and families to engage in sustainable practices.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we are located, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respect to the Elders, past, present and emerging, we thank them for sharing their stories with us and we thank them for caring for the land upon which we now play.
