TestimonialsWelcome to Eltham Woods Childcare Co-operative

Caroline

When choosing a childcare centre you want to feel that your child is safe, cared for and happy. I can proudly say that my daughter is all three. She loves her time at EWCC co-op and has learned so much and made many little friends in her six months there.

The centre is very tranquil in beautiful surrounds with the bonus of not being on a main road. The educators are lovely, caring and genuinely interested in the children, which is evident in how much my daughter talks about them. As a parent, they truly put my mind at ease, especially in the first few weeks when I was encouraged to call as many times a day as I needed.

Having joined the committee of management, it is even more evident that the centre is well run and the needs of the children are paramount.

We could not be happier and look forward to many more years.

We currently have two sons at Eltham Woods Childcare and have been involved with the centre for close to 3 years. As parents we couldn’t ask for anything more for our children and we have the confidence and assurance that they are  in great care plus having a fantastic fun time! Our 4 year old son asks everyday if he is going to childcare today and if he could he would!  He loves his teachers, his friends and he thrives on the constant learning that Eltham Woods provides him.

I would recommend Eltham Woods as a childcare centre to anyone. The teachers and staff are wonderful, it is a centre that treats your child with respect, love and provides them with a great place to learn and grow as individuals.

Thankyou Eltham Woods!

We feel very lucky to have found a place at Eltham Woods for our two daughters, who have attended this outstanding Centre for the last few years. The staff are highly professional, caring and friendly and we feel confident and happy knowing that our girls enjoy their time here. I appreciate the time the staff spend providing feedback on how the children's day has been and they take a genuine interest in their progress. The outdoor area has been beautifully designed to help stimulate the children's imagination and sense of discovery. The indoor activities are also well-planned, interesting and age-appropriate. Special activities or 'incursions' organised such as the tooth-fairy or 'reptile man' visits are also enjoyed by the kids. A big thank you to all the staff for providing such a wonderful experience for our children and generating a real sense of community for families.

My second child is about to finish up at Eltham Woods, ending our family's 5 year involvement with the centre. We chose Eltham Woods initially because I was impressed with the low staff turnover (several educators have been there for over 10 years, which is extremely unusual in the childcare sector), I loved the quiet bush setting, and because I was keen to be part of a community-based centre. I joined the committee of management, which not only gave me the chance to be really involved with the doings of the centre, but was responsible for a couple of really good friendships too. Over the last 5 years I have seen Eltham Woods go from strength to strength. It is a well-managed, well-resourced and most importantly, a fun place to be. It has honestly been a second home to my two boys, and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
